Eyes and Arms of Smoke LP – finally available!

We are excited to announce the release of A Religion of Broken Bones, the first full-length LP from Eyes and Arms of Smoke. Click on the picture of it below to order from Surefire Distribution, or check the many other fine distributors that will be carrying it. (Or try your local record store!)

Eyes and Arms of Smoke

More information on the record is available here. Also, Brad Rose just published this fantastic interview with the band in Foxy Digitalis.

Other release news

We are expecting the Burning Star Core double CD anthology back from the plant sometime in the next two weeks. Next up is the Lied Music LP, then the new Scatter LP, then hopefully the Aaron Rosenblum record and the Auk Theatre DVD before the end of the year.

Burning Star Core has just released a new CD on the Hospital label called Let’s Play Wild Like Wildcats Do and we highly recommend it. Also, the CD issue of The Very Heart of the World is due out soon on Thinwrist.

We had a great time at the “Tonight Let’s All Make Love in Buffalo” festival. Here are some shaky handheld videos of live performances by Pengo (featuring C. Spencer Yeh) and Son of Earth; and here is an inaudible Burning Star Core interview that is a good lesson in why you shouldn’t stage interviews in front of waterfalls.

After being stationed in Lexington, KY for most of the past year, Cenotaph will be relocating to Glasgow, Scotland for 12 months beginning in September. Though we will still operate as a “US” label, please check back here for a temporary correspondance address in September.
